A position is open for a Draftsperson.
Candidate must be fluent in AutoCad, Microsoft Office and Sketchup. Candidates should be ready to work flexible and longs hours when required. Knowledge of NZS 3604:2011 is beneficial. Training offered for candidates with overseas experience.

Training Positions
We provide training to graduates from Auckland University / Unitec and any other Technical Institute of Architecture for a minimum of 6 months. Suitable for candidates who have been asked to fill a minimum criteria of having practical work experience in an architectural firm while seeking employment in the field. Business Development (Project) Manager

The Project Manager will be tasked with planning and executing projects while remaining focused on company needs, strategic plans, and meeting financial objectives. The successful candidate will direct, manage and oversee project development from beginning to end while dealing with the clients and contractors. Candidate must be flexible and able to quickly identify opportunities for improvement. Candidate must be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast paced environment. High attention to detail, accuracy, excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team is required. Hours are demanding with the requirement of attending to customers at all times. The position will involve attending to existing and new clients including generating new clients through sales. The position also involves; site supervision, site inspections with council officers and builders, compiling costs of construction from subcontractors, budget analysis and feasibility reports for clients.
To qualify the following requirements must be met:
(i). Applicants for this position should have a valid NZ Residency and at least 2 year valid NZ work permit. NZ Citizens are preferred.
(ii). 3-5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of project development and execution (Project Management Certification helpful)
(iii). Ability to read and understand plans and a good knowledge of the practicality of construction.
(iv). Good written and spoken English and must be bi-lingual in English / Indian ethnic  languages written and verbal as the target market will be based on 90 percentile Asian / Indian speaking clients.
(v). Valid Driver’s License

To succeed in such a dynamic environment you must be able to demonstrate the following:
a). A proven track record of completing difficult projects on schedule and on tight budgets.
b). An ability to work in upstream locations with limited communications and scant logistical support.
c). Excellent interpersonal skills, a professional attitude, and firm personality to manage projects independently or as a team member.
d). Well-established networks within the New Zealand architectural / and Indian community are preferred.
e). The ability to complete what you set out to achieve with a clear focus on essential outcomes.
